My original intent was to photograph wild turkeys that have been feeding in a cornfield. I had observed about thirty turkeys two days earlier. I went to the cornfield about an hour before the time I had last seen the turkeys and patiently waited for them to
come out to feed. The temperature was dropping the wind was blowing and the snow was squalling. After about an hour of waiting and the sun sinking into the horizon I left and found this group of tundra swans. And it was worth it, one of the things
most people overlook in photography is the need to be flexible and take advantage of the situations at hand.
