Looking

This female eagle had just finished eating a fish. After eating she was rubbing her beak on the tree bark to clean off the fish scales and sat in the tree for a good while preening. I always get excited when I photograph bald eagles, and sometimes I just stop photographing them to just watch their grace and beauty. It's an amazing comeback that they have made and bald eagles are being seen more frequently. It is not just the eagle making a comeback but other raptors as well are on the rise. I know if everyone continues to be more aware of the enviroment, we will enjoy the beauty of these birds for years to come.
